Transit was my favourite short film to work on! I wanted to create a film completely out of my comfort zone. I decided to create a fast paced action sequence with limited amount of backstory and worldbuilding. Since it was my final film before graduating, I decided to do something fun and play around with my work. I used a 3D model of a train to work out the backgrounds, different aspect ratios to differentiate between the past and present along with colour grading.

I also used colour during the fight scene to show which character had the upper hand in the fight. I made the characters opposites of each other, where one is lean, tall and agile while the other is stronger, but slower in movements. I gave Transit a lot of thought when developing it although it is a short action sequence. All these little elements add up to create an energised short film! I had tons of fun in creating this short film and I'm thoroughly happy with how the film turned out.
